We woke up on Friday at 2:00 am to driving rain, 40 mph winds and dense fog, a vast difference from the prior day (70 degree, sunny, no clouds). We hiked up another 1000 ft to see if we could break through the storm system, we couldn't. We turned around and hiked back down to based camp.
