Our little "ladies man" wanted to show his cool side. Mommy and I tried on several pairs of sun glasses while we were at the mall. When we got home Connor went straight to his toy box and grabbed his shades. Keep in mind he has completely ignored them for the last year and a half. He was so proud of himself he wanted me to take his picture, multiple times. This is not something he does, meaning look right at the camera and stand still.
Grandma Pata was soaking up all the grand kid time she could at Nathan and Missi's BBQ. If you look close you can see Brody underneath Katie and Connor. If you compare this picture to a similar one we took on Christmas 07 you can see how much the two kids have grown. So much so that Brody is covered up and Grandpa got pushed out all together.
On Saturday night we went to Nathan and Missi's house for a barbeque. Connor really enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family. He spent all night playing, chasing, fighting with Katie. Connor broke his own personal record by staying up until 10:30 pm.

Last year for Connor's 1st birthday we gave him a train set. We didn't realize that he wasn't old enough to really enjoy it, so we put it away. On Saturday while Connor was taking his afternoon nap Becky and I put it together for him. He came down to his play room and his eyes lit up. He loves it, we're still working on how to keep the track in place :)
Helping us with a little yard work.
Connor and Cora enjoying a ride in the wagon. We all took turns giving them rides around the yard and down the alley.

Connor won his stuffed tiger at the dart toss.
Connor didn't like this one as much as some of the others. I put him in and I had to take him right out.

On Friday night I took Connor to Houby Days in Czech Village. He rode several rides but liked this one best. It was a perfect evening for a fair.

Connor was giving free dump truck rides, surprisingly Bailey enjoyed it.

While I'm at work Connor loves to play "business". He sets up a desk that is similar to mine at the office. He has his laptop, portfolio and head set and is ready to close some deals. One day Becky walked into the dinning room and he had set this up on his own. I just need to get him a lead list and have him start making some calls.
Connor and I made a visit to the Ushers house out in the country. He loved playing with all the toys and having all that space to run.
Con would much rather drive than be a passenger.

Guess what mommy gave Connor to play with?

At the end of April my Dad and I took a father/ son trip to Memphis for the weekend. We were able to check a couple additional states off our "lists", AR, MS and TN. Neither of us had been to MS, ask us about the Olive Branch Catfish Company, great story. The first picture was taken on Beale St, the second was at Graceland (total tourist as we did the full blown tour) and the third was at BB Kings listening to some blues.
Even cool guys get tired.
