Our little guy has a fashion sense that is all his own... sunglasses with the lenses popped out and a participation medal from a charity bike ride.

Becky watched our nephew, Isaac, for a few days at the end of September. After feeding Isaac a bottle she came around the corner to find Connor sitting in his chair pretending he was a baby.

Connor and I drove two hours to Boone, IA to take a ride on Thomas the Train and spend the afternoon enjoying all the activities. You can't tell by these pics but he really did have a great time. He loved sticking his head out of the train window and yelling "moo" at all the cows. He also really enjoyed the legos they had there to play with.

This could have been the highlight of our trip to see Thomas the Train. On the property was a miniature caboose which the kids could play on. I think Connor spent 30 + minutes on the caboose going in and out, putting the chain on, taking it off, climbing up the ladder, climbing down the ladder... Becky was in Dallas for the weekend so Connor and I had no agenda and he was able to do whatever he liked for as long as he liked. It's not often I can spend so much uniterupted time with him and our weekend together and trip to see Thomas was a real treat for me.

He doesn't take to kindly to strangers entering his fort.

Umm... picture speaks for itself- taken in Mid August.

Con spent more time eating and drinking juice than he did swimming at the water park in Waterloo, Lost Island.

Connor made his own razor of Legos and "shaved" the shaving cream off his face about 15 times. He has a book titled Just Like Daddy which is a story of a dad and his son who shave together. As a side note, Connor also likes slapping after shave on his face.

A trip to Wisconsin is never complete without a trip to the Cheese Chalet.

On a road trip to the northern tip of Wisconsin in late August for a family reunion. The first picture is Connor talking with his Grandparents, can't remember which ones though and the second picture is him watching a Curious George dvd.

In early August we took a weekend trip to Chicago. Someone really liked the 5 story balcony and was fascinated with sitting, standing, crawling and peering over the edge.
The morning after his birthday... he partied pretty hard so a donut hit the spot for him.

The Birthday Boy enjoying his birthday cupcakes

Connor's big birthday present was his outdoor playhouse. His expression when he saw it was priceless... he was so excited.

Enjoying his 2nd birthday party.
Grandpa Brown and Con enjoying the merry go round at the BBQ Roundup

This was taken at the BBQ Roundup this summer. My parents and brothers joined us for a little bbq, rides and cover band music.
